Small hotel with good staff who understand english. Need QR code for storage & retrieval of luggage. Room size is small, complimentary water bottle is only for check in. Room is clean but issue with window as you may accidentally knock it due your sleep. Also there is no ramp as you need to bring your heavy luggage down a flight of stair.

I had a wonderful experience staying at APA Hotel in Asakusa, which was called 'Asakusa Kuramae' location. It was within easy walking distance: 4 minutes to Sumida river (for jogging), 2 minute walk to 7-11, 9 minute walk to Senso-ji and Asakusa Shrine and the shrine and temple are maybe a 3 minute walk to ROX shopping center and a giant Don Quijote. I recommend using the nearby 200-yen lockers to put your stuff in. Of course you can find train stations entrances on nearly every city block in Aasakusa. Skytree, ueno park, Imperial palace, all are nearby too!

Honestly, couldn't have asked for more. The room technically isn't very spacious, but it's planned in such a way that you have enough space without feeling too cramped. For the price, it's a great deal.

The room was a bit smaller than I'd expected, and the shower took some getting used to. The window also only opened up to the flat side of the building. It was close to several train stations which was very convenient. The little master control lightswitch by the bed was nice.

Great place, lack of english

Everything was awesome except that the people on the front desk dosnt speak english and they dont understand pretty well even with a transalator so they give you wrong directions about almost 65% of my questions was missunderstood.

Amazing, affordable, a enjoyable stay !

I closed this hotel due to my last awe fil experience stay at B.Ginza Hotel Tokyo. Many hotels in Ginza were very expensive, rotten furniture and extremely snobbish staff……The APA hotel and crew at Asacusa made my trip very easy. From check-in to luggage service, the staff smiled sincerely and with very polite gestures. The room is very spacious given the superb location , I found all the amenities clean and up to date. The highlight is the onsee on the top floor, 5 stars ? I would give it a 10.

The Apa hotel we stayed in was very convenient to several of the Japanese sights . It was close to Groc and 7/11 stores so good for getting grocererys and snacks. the T.V. was very nice and large. But there was no volume on it so very quiet, could hardly hear. We asked for help but they said that was as good as it gets. The room was very small, about 10 X 10, the bathroom was about 3 X 4, so small. The bed was shoved against the wall, so one person had to crawl over the other to get out. The mattress was on a spring, no box, so not really comfy. The pillows were flat, one was crunchy!! The air was turned off for the season, so we had a window that opened. The window faced a building about 6-8 feet away, so you couldnt see anything, didn't even know that it was raining out. There was a kettle for coffee and tea, so this was nice. The lights in room were very nice and bright. It felt decently clean. We got there early , and if we want to check in there would be a fee, so we choose not too. There is 3 Apa Hotels on this street, I dont know what the others were like. All and all, we would not recommend this to someone, basically because of the size of the room. You had to stand sideways to pass each other going to the bathroom. The price was cheap, and the location was great.

The stuff at the reception desk was polite and helpful. The room is small, and simple but sufficient for my stay. One thing I didn't like was the mess in the hallway especially in the morning with trash bins and laundry bags left outside each room. I thought I was in China.
