Can't adjust heater in room! The location is good- in the heart of everything. The only reason I gave it a 4 star is because the heater inside the hotel cannot be adjusted in each room. It was cold outside in November so naturally the heater was turned on inside the hotel. Unfortunately we were not able to adjust the thermostat so the small room got really hot! Luckily we have a small window in the room that we were able to pop open slightly to be comfortable. I would not stay here again unless it's summer time. There is a sign by the elevator that says guests cannot adjust the heater in their room. I wish I knew this when I booked.

Location of the hotel is great. About an 8 minute walk to Ueno station to catch the skyliner to and from the airport. Okachimachi station is just a 5 minute walk to travel to other area of Tokyo. Alot of great eating amd shopping spots right around the hotel. The hotel restaurant on the 1st floor was convenient for an early breakfast, before heading out to whatever plans you have for the day.

Pros: Convenient location, very close to a few train stations. Cons: It looks like the hotel is accommodating more than capacity. The lobby was crowded with luggages (stayed there for 4 nights and it was like that daily) making it difficult to move around in an already very crowded space. There’s always a lineup for the elevators so expect to miss a few elevators if you’re assigned an upper floor. There was a memo on the elevator asking guests to allot 15 minutes during busy hours when using the elevators and encouraged people to use the facilities during off hours so it seems that management is aware of this. Nonetheless, the staff was great for the workload they had. Still worth considering if you find a good rate.
