Hotel Zed was fun and the retro vibe was lovely. We found our king room very cozy and spacious. The skylight was one of the highlights. The wash basin area was also chic and elegant. The hot tub, the sauna, the inlet, the video game room, the sun-drenched patio, and the walkable proximity to Chesterman beach for sunset are all reasons to stay here. The front desk staff was friendly and cheerful.

It was an aesthetically pleasing and funky hotel with everything you need. The sauna and hot tub were great. I also really enjoyed the showers in the rooms and coffee set-up. The restaurant was closed Monday and Tuesday which was a bummer, but otherwise it was great.

Beautiful and quirky hotel right across from the Chesterman beach area. Very close to Tofino and Ucluelet. Parking and excellent. Inlet behind property was gorgeous. I wish I could’ve spent more time there but I didn’t pack well and it was a little chilly with the wind. Highly recommend this property and would stay again if in the area. We stayed in the double queens room and it was spacious. One note: the bathroom is an open set up and you step out of the shower into the entry way. A little awkward if you aren’t close with your roommate but otherwise fine. Everything worked well and water heated up very well.
