We really enjoyed our stay at the Cobble wood Guesthouse. Our Heron room was very spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. We found the bed very comfortable and had a very quiet sleep. The drive into Tofino is about 5 min and there are plenty of great places to eat. We had a wonderful stay.

The property/suite is on the larger side, with high ceiling. The facilities are adequate but getting dated and a bit sparsely furnished and decorated. The bathroom is clean and very well maintained but on the smaller side and need more cabinets and counter space. The walk in shower with curtain is typical Canadian pre built Vinyl/PVC shower stall but functional. The location is on a very quiet area and has easy access to the main roads and paths to nearby beaches and parks . Access to the property was easy, thanks to the property manager, who showed us the location, and basics of the facilities. We booked the Heron King suite on the lower level and it is a part of a multiplex of other suites, so it may get noisy depending on renters on the second level suites. Parking is adequate and with easy access to the unit. The unit is NOT a high end luxury accommodation but can be home away from home depending on the unit renter needs and wants.

Ken and Michelle were great hosts. Ken gave us lots of advice on what we could do during our stay. The room and amenities were wonderful, it had such a homely feel. The upside to this property is its inbuilt kitchen and parking!

Quiet and close to everything. Ken was amazing, he advised us about places to go for walks / hikes and restaurants, we followed all his suggestions without regrets, we enjoyed everything he mentioned. The only thing too mentioned if you have back or knee problems, there is not stand up shower, only jacuzzi, which is ok unless it's uncomfortable for you to get in and get out. Overall we enjoyed our stay very much.

Our three night stay at the Cobblewood was so lovely!! Instructions on how to check in and check out were clear, the host introduced himself and gave us hiking/dining recommendations (all of which were perfect for us), and the house was clean. We stayed in the Golden Dawn suite and used the pull out bed provided. It was very comfy! There were no concerns with our stay. Highly recommend you stay here!

My family of 4 really enjoyed our stay. With 2 teenagers the space was needed. The street was on a quiet dead-end road, which we appreciated. The suite was clean and comfortable. There was a lot of room to spread out; my wife and I enjoyed a drink on the balcony most days. The location was perfect for us, but it depends what you are looking for. It was a very short walk to a small shopping area (Tacofino, Wildside Grill, an amazing ice cream store, a small convenience store, and others), a short walk to Mackenzie beach, and a little walk to the local brewery and a fish market. It was a longer walk (but easily doable) to town of you like to be in a be in a busier area, but the distance was perfect for us. The owner/manager, Ken, was very helpful. He ran into us a few times when we were walking and would check if we needed anything or needed any tips to enjoy the community. I would recommend for my friends and family.

A really cute little suite, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The deck outside was really nice with butterflies, hummingbirds and jays. Very walkable to the beach, good shuttle service to Tofino. One small drawback was the shower is tiny, my husband is 6'2" and 235 lbs and found it quite cramped. The hosts supplied coffee which was really great! I would come back for sure!
