“The lady that we dealt with was very nice , she made my husband and myself very welcome. The room was clean but I have to say very tired , but it was a ok . The breakfast was fine . Can’t comment on shops as we went to a wedding so didn’t go far and the next morning we drove home.”

“It was really good value for money. The staff, party the young man on reception, were friendly and helpful. As a grade 2 listed building the property is showing signs of age and the floors were very creaky. The room was a good size , clean and the bed was really comfortable. The location is brilliant with excellent views from the room. Very close to the station, Citadel and all local amenities. Overall would be happy to stay there again.”

“Staff were excellent. Very nice outside area to eat in summer ! You must book in advance. (We didn't unfortunately) Meal was excellent and good breakfast the next day. Ample parking.”
