“This is an excellent hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and I noticed how conscientious and hard-working the restaurants and bar staff were in particular. The food in the restaurant was excellent. I enjoyed a delicious roast tomato soup and local ice cream. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve had in a long time in a hotel. “Had a wonderful 2 night stay at the Horse & Farrier. Room was excellent with great facilities , Comfy bed , iron and ironing board , hairdryer and lovely big shower. full size fridge and wine glasses and a sink complete with fairy liquid, great if wanting to eat in as there was also knives and forks in a drawer. We had a meal on the second night which was really good. The staff were amazing ,really friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. There is a bus stop directly outside and buses...
