We had a fantastic stay. The room was warm and clean and I’m so grateful to Alison and her husband for being so welcoming and accommodating, and for the hearty breakfast in the morning! Look forward to returning soon!
We made a last minute booking at Brambles due to an unforeseen change of plan. Alison the landlady was very friendly and helpful and the garden room was spacious and comfortable, with a good shower and breakfast. We found it by accident but would definitely book again.
Nice cosey bed and breakfast. Walking distance to nearby pub. Home cooked breakfast to order. Rooms a nice size. Host puts a lot of effort in to make your stay comfortable
What a lovely first impression. The moment I arrived, the service struck a perfect, rare balance: flawlessly professional yet infused with genuine, inviting warmth. It’s an instant sense of belonging that turns a new destination into a welcoming home. Thoughtful, intuitive service made every interaction seamless and exceptionally pleasant
Super hostess, welcome email, text and call before trip and text on day. Great location. Lovely room and view. Fantastic hostess. Best room tea am
Ndsnavk pavk. Superb breakfast
We enjoyed our stay, our bedroom and bathroom was spotlessly clean and it was very cosy, we had everything in our room we needed, our host was welcoming and cooked us a lovely breakfast, the views out the windows were of the lovely countryside and the garden was lovely also.
If you are thinking of staying at the Brambles bed and breakfast, I highly recommend you stay.
To sum up 10/10 we will be back for another stay at your lovely accommodation.
Was greeted by owner on arrival and led to my room, very hospital and partner too, who went out their way to personally call me and confirm location of accommodation so i did not get lost. Room was lovely and warm on arrival, bed was terrific ... a great nights sleep. Will definitely go back when in area again.
We had a wonderful night at Brambles Bed & Breakfast. Love garden (my partner was over the moon to see all the flowers and plants). We had dinner at a local pub, which was excellent. Breakfast was amazing and Alison was charming and made us feel welcome. Will definitely go back again.
We have just had 4 days at Brambles & we could not fault it. David & Allison are very helpful, pleasant & nothing was to much trouble. The accomodation was excellent & the breakfast superb. The room was very clean & welcoming. I would highly recommend this as a place to stay & definately will be staying there again if we are down that way. Also the garden is beautiful with lovely views.
Modernized and clean units. Extremely friendly and helpful owners and excellent breakfast included. Rural area with no restaurants nearby and located on narrow lane.
From the first contact via text with location instructions to reluctantly leaving after a gorgeous breakfast, this business trip was amazing. The room was warm and cosy, the teas and coffees with biscuits and snacks and everywhere so clean. The redwood pub in the village was an absolute pleasure with excellent food . Thank you
The hosts are just fabulous. So welcoming and friendly. I stayed in a lovely room. I couldn’t believe how many courtesy items there were ! Everything you could hope for, and some. The room and bathroom was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The breakfast experience was similar and so tasty and beautifully cooked. I would without doubt stay there again if I was travelling in this area.
Spoilt for choice regarding breakfast options. Likewise, our room had everything we needed.
From the time we booked, Alison,( the owner, along with David), were in contact with comprehensive directions and information in preparation for our stay.A follow- up message a few days before the stay was well received. Yes there is a drive along narrow lanes to reach and access the B&B as mentioned on their Website, but we encountered no problems either finding or getting too and from the B&B.Ideal base for our short visit to see friends and family in the area. Thanks Alison & David.
All of the 3 rooms we booked had excellent facilities, everything we needed was there and more than we expected - from an extensive range of teas and other hot drink options to snacks and wine glasses.
The garden is fabulous and the views across the open countryside are extensive.
The owners were very friendly and helpful and we all slept very well in the extremely comfortable beds.
The proprietors have thought absolutely everything, full range of teas, two wine glasses complete with suitable snacks, comfortable beds, a spacious shower, lovely garden and the most extensive breakfast menu we've ever seen.
The only downside for us was that we got the last and smallest room. There was only room for one chair in the narrow space around the kingsized bed. In the end we bought a folding chair in from our car but still had to sit either side of the bed!
Everything would be fine for an overnight stop but perhaps we were unusual in having a four night break.
So - an excellent bed, shower and breakfast with comprehensive ancillaries in rather cramped surroundings. Just try and book one of the larger rooms if you're extending your stay.
