Beautiful family run guest house in the heart of the town , I was made to feel so welcome and the breakfast was delicious, comfy bed and tv and nice clean bathroom , will definitely stay again when passing through !

Nice Guesthouse with very friendly hosts.

Nice guesthouse with very friendly hosts. Breakfast was really nice. Would have been 5 star, but they didn’t answer our phone calls or messages before arrival. Also, room decoration is starting to get a little dated and tired.

Fabulous fine. Excellent value, brilliant owners , very comfortable and convenient and best of all, managed my gluten free needs perfectly. Breakfast was delicious including home made jam.

The hosts at the Angel were assiduous in contacting me before I arrived and attended to all my requirements once I found them. I had a very comfortable and convenient overnight stay at short notice and immediately prior to New Year - breaking my long journey from the south east to Penzance. A lovely family run guest house

A lovely family run guest house. Nice cooked breakfast in the morning with fresh ingredients. Comfortable rooms and beautiful historical surroundings. Highly recommend.

It is always interesting to experience what one receives from something billed at the lower end of the price range. This property was adequate in the sense that it provided a bed, shower and reasonable breakfast. However, it is not a property that one would recommend to anyone, beyond someone purely wishing a place to lay one's head for the night. The overriding adjectives to describe it would be - basic but adequate.

Ich war sehr froh das die Betten bezogen waren und Handtücher zur Verfügung standen. Zimmerreinigung zwischendurch gab es nicht wegen Coronavorsichtsmaßnahmen. Sehr gutes englisches Frühstück und was ich daran besonders schätzte war die Vegetarische Variante. Lecker sind die Marmeladen.

A 300 year old home close to city centre

There was a warm welcome on arrival with tea and coffee making facility in the room. A nice comfortable bed in quiet room facing the car park. Breakfast was excellent with full English or other choices. Our room had shared bathroom but not an issue. Walking distance to main sites and places to eat.

Great service

Stayed for 3 nights with work and no complaints at all.... quiet, clean and comfy rooms with parking. Had to leave before breakfast was served so was given a tasty lunch bag .... highly recommend and when in the area again I’ll be looking to book again..... great service 👍

Great B&B

This is one, if not the one, of the best B&B we stayed in. Everything there is great: location is very good and easy to find, it's easy to park, Chris (the owner) was very kind, rooms are great and very clean, breakfast choice is very good and food is really good. I cannot recommended more, do not go anywhere else.
