“The history and outside appearance of the inn was impressive, unfortunatley the rooms definately did not have the wow factor for me. The Oundle suite bathroom was very tired in terms of furniture and building. The shower looked filthy and I didnt want to use it. It wouldnt take much to improve by cleaning the grout and re plastering. We paid £612 for a 3 night stay but the standard of the rooms do not reflect this price. “Checkin not the best - the young man checking our party in looked down at his screen while talking to us - so was difficult to hear what he said . Surprised that we were asked if we wanted our rooms ‘refreshed’ each day . Paying for the 3 rooms couldn’t for some reason be done in one payment - so 3 separate payments had to be done - which of course took longer .”
