Perfect spot on the Danish coast

Our mother-daughter getaway at this beach house was remarkable. We loved the room, the views, and the charming grounds. The restaurant was excellent, although as a non-seafood eater, I could have used a few more options.

I love this place. It was a beautiful, quiet and quaint. The food was local and amazing. The staff were pleasant, attentive and social. There was plenty to see within driving distance. The water was beautiful and cold, although itā€™s a rocky beach, so bring water shoes.

Incredible location, at the top of a cliff overlooking the North Sea. The food was fantastic, the porch was cozy with and unbeatable view. The rooms were clean but not luxurious

The balcony on top floor needs really to be refreshed. The wooden terrasse and small plantes and small trees was not in good shape.

Dejlig service fra de ansatte. Dyrt for selv simple ting og sparsomt udvalg til middagen. 75kr for en lille skĆ„l med kĆøbe fritter fra pose var dyrt. Hotellet var lidt slidt med billeder der var faldet ned af vƦggene og stod pĆ„ gulvet i fƦllesarealer.

Personlig og imĆødekommende betjening

Personlig og imĆødekommende betjening af hele personalet. Vi fik et fantastisk weekend ophold og selv vejret var med os med hĆøj sol og klart vejr i marts 2025. Badehotellet er sat meget istand idenfor de seneste mĆ„neder, men har beholdt den sƦrlige Tisvildeleje/HornbƦk stil fra 1920ā€™erne samtidig med at alt fĆøles 1.klasses og er yderst charmerende. Vi valgte at booke et standard vƦrelse med havudsigt, og kan kun anbefale nr. 12 som ligger i annexet med en suverƦn udsigt mod Nord. Annexet virker som en naturlig forlƦngelse af det gamle hotel, og er holdt i samme stil. Sengen var meget god, der er hverken fjernsyn eller radio pĆ„ hotellet, derfor var vores medbragte iPad god til at hĆøre lidt dƦmpet musik pĆ„ vƦrelset fin. Maden i restauranten er eminent, vi fik Ćøsters, torsk og den lokale ƦbletƦrte alt var lƦkkert og i passende portioner. Serveringen i sƦrklasse og hver ret blev prƦsenteret af vores sĆøde tjener. Morgenmaden var ligeledes rigelig og god med nybagte kanelsnurrer og alt vi behĆøvede. Kan kun anbefales herfra.

Det store minus er at man kan ikke bade i havet ved hotellet, pga til gangen ned til havet. Det kaldes et badehotel. Sauna ligger tƦt pĆ„ hotellet og har en fremragende udsigt over havet og horisonten. Lidt kedelig morgenmad, men dejlig med frisk frugt. Aften restaurant lƦkker mad. SĆød bevƦrtning. Hyggelig atmosfƦre og skĆøn indretning.
