“We had a difficult time getting checked in, as there was no one there when we arrived and my US phone had a hard time connecting to the posted UK number. But the owner arrived soon and everything was great! The restaurant is very unique with lots of antiques, and the food was fabulous! Breakfast was made to order and fabulous!! I highly recommend!”

“The food was very good (ham was delicious!) and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pub had a nice friendly feel, too. Plenty of on site parking and it felt clean. The only minor quibble was the tv screen in our room was abs tiny (small). Overall, was good value.”

“Fantastic host looked after us incredibly well, the place is right opposite the Lincolnshire county show ground, peaceful and quiet, we had a lovely walk up and down the bridal path. The host is an artist and showed us her works which is very impressive. The site has a new sauna and hot tubs for guests to enjoy. The breakfast was brought to us at the time we chose. Loved it and would book again if we are in the area.”

“I stay here regularly. A real local pub, where regulars seem to meet early evening but it gets quiet later. Very friendly atmosphere. Simple but great value rooms, good shower and comfortable warm rooms. Parking at rear and short walk to town centre. Excellent Italian restaurant ROPPERS just 200m away”
