I enjoyed my stay at Anchor Motel. My room had everything I needed for 1 night stay. Bed comfortable. Kitchen had what i needed. Toilet /shower space was small. Staff were great. And the Cat Honey, was a delight.

Whole house. Very old house which was actually quite an experience..pull chord for lights and shower over claw foot bath, took me back to my 20's.. 1 full length mirror somewhere, would be great!! But iron and board were very helpful! Needs some work on both bathrooms! Extractor fan in kitchen VERY noisy... Lovely big loung/dining area which was great for our family group ...12 all up... 7 staying in The House.. The house suited us as mostly only sleeping and showers... Couplands across the road!! Yes, I would stay again, as Im not looking for luxury accommodation and the price is reflective of this. Ps, the cat was a bit annoying.

Great place to stay in Timaru

Very nice small cabin with private bathroom, TV and comfy bed. There was a fridge, mic.owen and TV in the room as well as heating and heated matress. Everything I needed for a good one night stay in Timaru. Plus the staff was extremely nice and helpfull!!!

The bed is amazing in room 10

Very friendly check-in. The lady at reception was very nice and helpful with our questions being our first visit to Timaru. Walked to the lighthouse then to the penguins. Returned late at night and had an awesome sleep in a very comfortable warm bed. The room is not fancy but perfect for the price and you just need somewhere to sleep.
