Perfect location for an overnight stay

Perfect for an overnight rest if you have long to drive as it is located very near the motorway. It has a magnificent bakery nearby with hot fresh bread galore and a variety of croissants etc. The coffee is really tasty too. The hotel offers all the basics you need. The bed is really comfy.

Beyond basic

The staff were very helpful. The hotel itself was grim. Black mold in shower, paint flaking off on toilet wall, minimum space and uncomfortable bed. I asked for more pillows as we only had 2 very small ones to be told that is all we are allowed. Full of workmen.

It was full of residents that were using the place as a hostel. There was empty beer bottles and cans around the tables in front of reception and the whole experience was like staying in a migrant camp. It felt threatening and totally unsafe. Add to that a filthy toilet bowl and I would never go near this place again if you paid me

Sorry, we cannot give a better review. The Receptionist was not very welcoming or informative. We did not check when we booked that the room had 'en suite' toilet and discovered that we had to go into communal ones in the corridor. Not ideal as I have a weak bladder. During the evening we discovered that the room was invaded by tiny ants and being both tired and having to leave early we did not disturb the receptionist as did not want to have to move our belongings again. Not a happy stay this time!

Tiny and uncomfortable

smallest room I have ever stayed in with the absolute tiniest bathroom ever. So tiny that the toilet roll was under the sink and the soap was at the back of the toilet. The bed was made of a mattress only 3 inches think on a flat wooden slab. There was barely enough room to walk around the bed. Stifling hot and no air conditioning.

Thin mattress and bedding poor. Pillows rubbish. Hole in plasterboard- look like from a punch! Shower was only good thing in room. Night porter was pleasant and polite.

Lack of organisation between Hotel.com and First C

There is some lack of communications between Expedia and First Class. We had to stand over 1hour in reception as the receptionist couldn’t get payment from Expedia. Although it had nothing to do with us but we had to wait until it was resolved

The check in was abysmal. We arrived very late and although we had paid, the receptionist wouldn’t let us go to our room before he could charge the room to some card number on his system which unfortunately didn’t work. The card was registered to Expedia on his system but he kept saying that it was our card not working. Very Kafkaesque
. After an hour(!!!!) the system finally worked and we could go to bed, this was a dreadful experience
 we pay in advance so to make things easy.

L'hĂŽtel ne devrait mĂȘme pas figurer sur le site de hĂŽtel.com. J'avais pris deux nuits, je suis partie le lendemain, j'ai pas fait la deuxiĂšme nuit. L'employĂ© m'a changĂ© 3 fois de chambre lors de l'arrivĂ©e car les portes des douches Ă©taient cassĂ©es. Le lavabo de la chambre fuyait. Lorsque l'eau coulait, ça coulait aussi sur les pieds. Donc, salle de bain innondĂ©e. Pas de place pour circuler autour du lit. Pas de place pour ranger les affaires. On Ă©tait obligĂ© d'enjamber les sacs de voyage... Le monsieur qui tenait l'hĂŽtel a dĂ» faire lever une dame qui lisait un livre le matin au petit dĂ©jeuner, car on ne pouvait pas s'asseoir. Il y avait 3 tables seulement et 4 personnes dans l'hĂŽtel... Petit dĂ©jeuner qui ne vaut pas du tout le prix qui est Ă  payer. Pas de croissants, pas de pains au chocolat, pain au minimum... TrĂšs déçue de cet hĂŽtel qui est en piteux Ă©tat (moisissure, peinture Ă©caillĂ©e partout...), il est Ă  Ă©viter et mĂȘme Ă  raser carrĂ©ment. Sortez le de hĂŽtel.com
