Hidden gem of a hotel. Great location near the historic Ark Row, with many fine restaurants. Was pleasantly surprised with the hotel quality, cleanliness, and location. There is a really great supermarket just across the street where you can pick up whatever you want.

Staff was friendly and efficient, and the location hard to beat if one wants to stay by the water in Marin. The room amenities are clean though slightly dated. Ask for a balcony facing the pool courtyard or hills.

The Tiburon Lodge is a nice older motel that is clean however the bathrooms can use some updating. The walls are very thin and I could hear our neighbors upstairs and next door until midnight the two nights we stayed there. If the motel would not stack all the guests in one corner of the motel that would be helpful. That's my major complaint and I guess to be expected. The restaurant attached, the Tiburon Tavern was very good food and excellent service but they don't open until 11a.m. The location is great and convenient to walk to Tiburon's water front and the ferry. The restaurants are all good in this area so no shortage of delicious eats.
