Spring week in La Isla Y el Mar Hotel Lanzarote

Very nice hotel with outstanding friendly staff. Beautiful suits with very comfortable beds, breakfast was excellent every morning with a wide range of hot and cold choices including made to order egg and pancake dishes. We had Dinner in the A La Carte restaurant on one of the nights, which was an African teamed event. Food was underwhelming and overpriced and lacked in atmosphere. We would definitely stay again.

My husband and I wanted four nights away in the sunshine and warmth to sit and look at the sea and feel indulged and that is exactly what the hotel La Isla y El Mar gave us. Wonderful friendly and happy staff from reception to the restaurant to the bar. We even got a new cocktail on the house from David in the Kentia bar! We had a wonderful massage and couples experience in the spa. If you want to get away for a short break to the warmth and not do very much this is the perfect spot.

Great to be back!

Our second stay was excellent. Service is exceptional, there is a wonderful atmosphere throughout the hotel. Beautiful pool area and a great room. The breakfast is fantastic.

No distractions. This property was a boutique as advertised. It was unique, clean and had everything that you needed to enjoy a great experience. Beautiful ocean views, and the staff was very accommodating.

I stayed in one of the pool-view suites over Christmas, and it was fabulous! The dinner buffet and breakfast were 10/10 and staff was lovely. They also gave us a complimentary prosecco to wish us a merry christmas. Really nice touch.

Nice hotel but only 4 star. Limited servicehours in restaurants and roomservice, limited menues. Ok pricing but overall lack of qualitychecks in the suites, minor things but frequently. Good hotel for sunbathing holiday and relaxing (no kids), but observe the location on high hill in the city. Very nice and serviceminded staff.

decent stay

very average hotel that looks a lot better than it is, breakfast was always awful, egg never cooked how you asked and some limited hot buffet items that weren't that hot or of a good quality. The room needed some serious tlc there were quite a few things wrong with it.
