Staff were excellent. Pool temperature was 25C-26C. Food was good but fairly repetitive. Pool towel could only be exchanged every 2nd day.

An OK stay.

Although the check in was ok, the check out was not so good. When we checked in, we were given an electronic item to put into the safe, along with an explanation of how to use it. When we checked out, we were told that there would be a 4 euro charge for using the safe. I pointed out that it would have been helpful to have been informed of this at the check in point, when we were given the electronic item. The response was that I should have read the information sheet that all guests are told to read when they check in (we were not told to read it). I repeated that it would make sense (in my opinion) to inform guests of the charge at the time of giving them the electronic item. The receptionist repeated what she had told me and gave me the 4 euro back. I did say that I would pay for the safe, but she decided not to take my money.

Better than expected! As a couple in our 40s without kids, we wanted a relaxing holidays by the beach and pool without the fuzz of loud music, bars and drunk people as you can find more in Puerto del Carmen beach area. - Pros: an upgrade upon arrival, spa service onsite, beautiful view on the beach from the room, comfortable beds and modern furniture, AC, walkable to the front beach. Clean and quiet. Breakfast buffet included. Compare to Puerto del Carmen, the beach of Los Pocillos was very wide, clean and quiet which made enjoyable the walks along the sea. As we wanted quiet holidays the clients were mainly retired people or very young family with only limited amount of kids present in the hotel. - Cons: no regrets in not paying for half-board (£10/day or £15 for one-off). The buffet is good enough for breakfast, fits very much English/German consumers with some flavourless eggs, salami, fruits and sausages. As per the other island in the canary island, good restaurants are rare finds, but there was still options near the hotel within a 10min walk distance. As per supermarkets for essentials. The pool can get busy in sunny days and people tended to pick their lounger in the morning by leaving their towels, even while away and against the hotel policy.

Very good hotel

Very nice spotless clean hotel in an excellent location. A lot less noisy than some hotels, 5 minute walk to the main area plus the beach is 1 minute away.

The property is pleasant enough, although the communal areas are a bit too small for the number of guests staying here- ie, too many people around at peak breakfast times. There were only a few things that bothered me. Firstly, there was quite a pronounced dip in the mattress which was not good for my back. Secondly, many of the male guests think that it is ok to sit in the sauna completely naked with their legs apart, displaying their reproductive organs. This may be the norm in an adult male only sauna in some countries, but this sauna is not one of these. There are women and children guests. There is an A4 sheet of paper on the door to the sauna area reminding guests that swimsuits must be worn, but this is not enforced by the staff.

Great hotel but not for adult only

Las Costas is a lovely hotel in a great position by the ocean. It is a great chill out place apart from the young children screaming all the time. Unfortunately our room was in the middle of a lot of families so it spoilt it for us. The pool is amazing as are the staff. It’s a real pity there is no adult only row of rooms .

Great location, great food, app the issue

Hotel was fantastic, breakfast great. Only had one night due to cancelled flight, HOWEVER, not hotels fault more the apps fault. Booked it, paid, took taxi there, only for atleast 8 other couples turn up also booked and paid, and there was only 1 room! Hotel very helpful, rung around for other people and they all got rooms elsewhere. Room clean, roomy, shower powerful, aircon poor though(room 1147) Great location, on the beach. Would book a stay here
