“Fabulous room filled with thoughtful touches from bathrobes thru to fans - with every detail tastefully considered for the most enjoyable guest experience.”

“This was the best B&B by far I have ever stayed in. The room was spotless and a very comfy bed. The full Cumbrian breakfast was delicious and plenty of it, There was also a good alternative menu aswell. But if you decide to have an evening meal you are in for a real treat. Darryl is a trained Chef and the meals he serves are amazing.”

“We arrived to a lovely friendly greeting from Suruchi, we were given a walk around of the property, offered information on things to do and places to go. We chose this as a central location that was dog friendly for the three of us to stay. Nice location, nice property and the room was clean and tidy. Would definitely use this property again on another stay in the lakes. Thank you for making our 4 night stay so memorable.”

“The room was gorgeous and Sue is the kindest person. Lots of attention to detail and the little things that make your stay special. One issue was low water pressure in the shower due to a temperamental electric device that runs the shower head.”

“A very lovely Victorian house. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you.”

“Lovely bed and breakfast in Keswick; close to restaurants. Parking is difficult on weekends.”

“We had a fantastic stay at The Old Rectory. Our room was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The bed was the most comfortable we had in a 3 week tour of the UK! The host, Dave was lovely. So helpful in recommending local sights, and made a wonderful breakfast and coffee in the morning. The location was fantastic as well, Easy to walk to the High Street, beautiful bridge and walking trails, Annan museum, and restaurants etc. Thank you!”

“You get such a warm welcome from the owner, she makes you feel so at home straight away. The rooms we had were so clean and ideal for our stay. The rooms were warm and so quiet. The breakfast was so nicely cooked and tasty. This is a must stop if staying in this locality”

“Lovely clean room. Staff very friendly and informative about local attractions. Good choice of breakfast. Plenty of parking.”

“I was here for work, so slightly different priorities. But I enjoyed breakfast in my room and the whole order the night before set up, which included the time you wished to eat. Breakfast was good. this also meant the room had a table, which in my situation was very useful. Tea and coffee etc could be replenished from hall box. Good quality toiletries. Comfortable bed. Car parking on site, in fact very convenient all round.”

“Cerca de todo y sin problemas para aparcar. El desayuno delicioso. La dueña un encanto.”

“Excellent room; responsive staff is committed to service. Use driveway to the LEFT (downhill) of the house. Parking can be tricky in small lot, but help is available. Phone is needed for initial entry if staff is off-site (room key is in lock box and a phone call provides the code). I had a very happy and comfortable stay.”
