The staff were wonderful and breakfast was great. It was so convenient to have a full kitchen. I would have given 5 stars, but for some reason housekeeping forgot to make up our room one day.

Omar, the front desk staff member was ver friendly and helpful. He offered places to see in Thunder Bay and made restaurant suggestions. He made us feel very welcome. The hotel was nice, but the public areas and hallways could use a good cleaning. The room was clean, large and had a full size frig, which was nice. Linens were fairly plush. Bathroom was large.

I'd definitely recommend this hotel if you're staying in the Thunder Bay area. While it's not close to any sort of Lake view, it's conveniently located near restaurants and a quick drive to the lake. It was clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable.

Lovely property but we felt it was overpriced. Staff was friendly, especially Jeff at the front desk who went out of his way to explain everything, recommend restaurants, etc. Terrific welcome and first impression. Breakfast was not memorable, but it was convenient.

Grimy and Delightful

When I checked in, the front desk attendant Omar was enthusiastic and very welcoming. Our room was clean, or so I thought. Upon entering the restroom in the morning and getting ready for a shower, my eyes zoomed into every corner and crevice of the shower stall and to my dismay, there was black and pink looking mold. It was built up all along the base of the glass door to enter the shower. I let the new attendant know and she seemed confused and stated she would get someone to come look. I was annoyed but I waited from 10-4pm and no one came. I went back and the evening attendant sent someone within 20 minutes. It was cleaned thoroughly! Breakfast was good, much variety and the hotel is mostly quiet unless you are near an elevator. Lastly, I tried to contact Hotels for support but the app was blocking me from typing.

It was OK for a night on the road. Appears to cater to longer stays with kitchen amenities. Hallway carpet needs to be relaid or replaced (big wrinkles).

We travelled with our one year old daughter. A Playard was provided for her to sleep in. There was also lots of space in the room to have the Playard set up and still have room to walk around, a little play area on the floor and be able to use the kitchenette. Breakfast options were great / oatmeal, waffles, eggs, toast, sausage, etc… Would stay here again, especially when travelling with kids!
