The hotel was older but the rating was right on. Close to the entrance to the park, and was perfect for a one night stay to get an early start in Sequoia NP. Did have a great meal at the Gateway Lodge just up the road.

The River Inn was exactly what we were looking for! Well situated with a three-minute drive to the Park entrance, It was clean, everything worked, the bed was comfortable, and the check in with Jay was easy and he was lovely and helpful. There is a deli next door called Totem with food and all the amenities you need for the day. No complaints. It was a wonderful overnight trip.

The hotel is small with few amenities, but it is very convenient to Sequoia National Park. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. Parking was easy and there was a place to eat next door. The fridge barely kept things cold, but the coffee pot was great! It was reasonably priced so there is that!

The room was mostly clean with super clean beds and towels. Just desperately needed vacuuming. Peacefully and relaxing place great for long stays and enjoy the National Parks and beauty.
Good thing we bring our own hair dryer, because this one had been broken.
The room just needed vacuuming, between guests. Clear sequins on the floor and in the doorway.
A set of unused chop sticks along side the base board. Not ours.

Enjoyed the fact that we were super close to the entrance of Sequoia National Park but the room was full of ants. Couldn’t leave any food inside. We ended up leaving all food in the car. The fridge fortunately was sealed but that didn’t mean ants weren’t all over it trying to get in. The tv didn’t have work, only had one channel with a big pop up infront of it

This is in a very convenient location just 3 miles from SNP with nearby dining. The entire place is rather old and dated, water heat and pressure were poor, but since we were just sleeping there at night, it was perfect for our needs. The refrigerator in our room leaked on the floor during the night and wasn’t cooling very well. I loved the little table and chairs outside each room where I could sit and watch the traffic and hear the river.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom 2 bath cottage. Its was really nice. With a large living room with fireplace, piano, dining area, large kitchen and 2 bedrooms. They have bbq and firepit outside. This hotel was great for the price we paid and its closest to the Sequoia park entrance. Right next door is a nice cafe/ restaurant and market with everything you need and also a gift shop.

Needed a close-by room, a soft bed, and a safe parking spot after a long day of hiking in Sequoia. Got that covered. Aside from that, room was basic, couple of misses were: only bath towels in room (no hand nor mat, which made bathroom floor very slippy), only one hand soap (so either sink or shower was lacking), and two remotes in room w/ no instruction meant confusion. But, served its purpose!

Only a half mile to the entrance of Sequoia Natl Park. Very reasonable rate ($62 total for late March). Large room. Good bed, new sheets. Bath towels quite worn. All the basic amenities: fridge, TV with streaming networks, AC, hair dryer, etc.

This hotel is right outside of Sequoia National park! It is a small hotel with maybe 12 rooms. The rooms have been redone and are pretty nice. New “wood” flooring. The bed had a great mattress and some of the best bedding. Down side was no hot water after others checked in.
