“Staff were amazing 10/10 Food amazing Very accommodating Rooms says soundproof but wasn’t and corridors smell of the food, overall though we had a lovely time and used as a base and we enjoyed the food they served 10/10”

“The Village Inn was the perfect place for a stopover while travelling further south. Ideally located a short distance from Northallerton. Large car park, restaurant with a really good menu choice and very reasonably priced. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with heating you can control yourself. Powerful shower and very hot water. Breakfast was great, with choices of full English, Vegan, cereals etc. I would highly recommend the Village Inn to everybody looking for somewhere to stay...

“We had a very comfortable stay. The room was very clean, the breakfast made to your order with additional cereal and juice available. The staff were very friendly and concerned about our needs. Car parking was provided at the back. The location was within walking distance from the town centre pubs and restaurant as well as next to a big Tesco. Perhaps the TV was a tad small. ”

“This countryside property just outside Thirsk is easy to find and offers a wonderful, peaceful retreat. The room was spotlessly clean, featuring a great shower, huge plush towels, bathrobes, and slippers. Having access to a pool and hot tub was a fantastic bonus. The owner, Sue, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. “Beautiful setting, Staff friendly and very helpful. Room was charming. Plenty of parking. We had underfloor heating and found the room too hot through the night and bed a little to hard for me. If looking for hairdryer ours was positioned behind the curtain and unable to find it when I needed it.”

“Once I got my head past the idea that ‘this is not a Marriott’ I came to realize this is a great hotel. Room was comfortable. I was able to park right outside the hotel front door every night. Breakfast was good. The bar area is well presented with a good mix of locals and tourists to talk to. Room attended to daily. The local town is very pleasant. Some great coffee shops and pubs.”

“I've stayed here, overnight, on two occasions in the last month. During both stays I have come down for a continental breakfast either at 7.45am or 8.30am only to find the through door into the breakfast area was locked and no one around to give access. This meant I had to go to a nearby shop to buy breakfast at an extra cost to me even though it was already part of my booking cost.
