Stayed at Bay Horse for a day at Ripon Races, only 10 minutes drive from course. An old country inn, food was very good and landlord was a very nice person, room was nice and clean, bathroom a bit dated.

A lovely quirky country pub. Good location for the North Yorkshire moors. Menu in the pub was sufficient, we had really good tasty food. Our room was fine, comfy bed, clean & good shower. There was tea & coffee making facilities, with a good supply of the same.

Beats bland chain hotels by a country mile

Lovely family run pub in very quiet location with rooms and great home made meals. Easy reach of A1M and A19. Very welcoming after long day and very sociable. Brilliant cooked breakfast and lovely to see a community pub so popular with the locals.

We have had a lovely stay at The Bay Horse Inn. Very cosy sat in the bar atea with the coal fire lit. Our room was spacious and comfortable bed. The food is excellent and i can recommend the lamb shank. We will definitely stay again.

spent two nights here.old fashioned country pub with loads of character.had breakfast and evening meal,both were absolutely fine.lovely yorkshire hospitality.i would definitely recomend staying here.

A traditional country pub with great service from friendly staff. The room was comfortable and good value for money. If you don’t eat here you will miss out as the food is extremely good, far better than many places on our trip. Will definitely stay again.
