“I was not really happy with the room I was given. I booked a normal room, but received a room for an impaired person. I was put in room 1. The shower was a wet floor shower, which was not too bad, but the bed was terrible. The mattress had collapsed and I ended up sleeping ( actually I didn't sleep) in a dip, ended up with body aches.”

“Staff very obliging. All very polite. Ensuite in our first room was a little cramped but we adapted. There was a problem with water leakage from another room so we were asked to move. The new room was even better. Food and drink prices no more expensive than other establishments. Hotel has old world character which was nice to see as the county seems to be loosing our traditions. This is bad for the country and hospitality sector.”

“Property was a bit strange from outside has it did not open until 3pm when the bar opened it was closed again early so no food in restaurant available. Once closed the only people in the building were guests no staff. Although it didn't look great outside the rooms were very nice and well equipped. Overall good stay for one night and plenty of places to eat.”

“Very convenient for visiting friends in the area. Rural location . Comfortable rooms. Will stay again.”
