Vacations Close To The Stephen Talkhouse

We paid a very low price, and so we didn't arrive expecting a five star hotel. It's older but nice, conveniently located, had very helpful staff, room was cool on a hot day, and clean with a comfortable bed. It's all we needed, and we'll stay there again if we need a place to sleep in the city.

Great location. Spacious rooms. The suite was excellent for having others in. The only negative was that there were some dirty upholstery and frayed carpet.

This was our first time at the William and we will definitely be back. With all of the options available, I don’t recall the main reason why we chose this place, maybe it was the price, I don’t recall but I am so glad we did. The rooms we very spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also a nice size and very clean. The cleaning staff were very nice, helpful and polite. The most props go to the front desk staff, Ebony, KeKe and one other, her name escapes me. I’m sure, based on my experience, that they have been praised in the past. If not, shame on the guests for not recognizing them. They made us feel very welcome and comfortable. It felt like we were visiting family. There is a lot to be said about staying at a much smaller hotel. We never felt like we were in a small hotel and always felt welcomed and appreciated. Overall I very much enjoyed our stay. The lobby is beautiful, great little bar/restaurant. The rooms (for NYC specifically) were roomy and very well appointed for the space. The fridge was critical for us for medication and appreciated. I will say, a microwave would have been helpful (really helpful). Overall the staff was great but we did have one issue that was disappointing for the way it was handled but it did not ruin our stay. It’s super conveniently located to time square, broadway, and tons of food options and just off the main crazy of being directly in Time Square. Recommend for pretty much anyone but boutique feeling is great for a girls trip, older kids, or couples.

I had reserved one bed with regular shower room, I was given two bed with disability shower when I had checked in, I felt like I Do not recommend
