Vacations Close To The Rock

Excelent for a quick overnight stay lovely hotel, Very friendly staff room was basic but very clean. Bed was a bit harder than expected but okay. Would recommend this hotel if you need to visit or do business in the area. The food was of a good standard couldn’t fault the service. Interesting building and good value for money

Hyatt House was exceptionally clean. The bathroom and the room were lovely. The food was very good. The restaurant was great and staff member Anna was very helpful.

Our stay was great, the hotel is fresh and clean, and the room had everything we needed. It was also really good value for the quality. Would stay again!

Basic but adequate room for short stay. Easy check in/out and good location for train station.

The room was clean overall and looked nice, but the lack of a functioning A/C really impacted my stay, especially considering that the UK had issued warning alerts due to the very high temperatures. I was disappointed to find that the A/C did not cool to the set temperature and it also switched off after 2hrs. This meant I had to switch it back on, including during the night. I told the reception staff 3 times during a 2-night stay and was told it had been resolved off every time; I eventually got tired of asking. Breakfast was okay, the bread/pastries were unfortunately dry at times but the coffee was delicious. The location of the hotel is great and it felt safe, but it falls short of what is expected of a 4-star hotel.

A nice hotel but sadly with no air conditioning on an exceedingly hot night the room was so hot. However it is a lovely hotel
