Nice clean room and very convenient for the station. ideal for a few nights stay and near to bars restaurants etc. linked to a bigger Tulip hotel next door for an excellent breakfast. Generally an Unmanned reception but communication was ok when needed.

My absolute favorite hotel in Leiden. I am always so impressed with it that I have returned time and again. Right near the train, so close and walkable to all of the things that Leiden offers. Perfect location and place to stay when in the Netherlands.

It's worth noting that the shower and washbasin are in the bedroom, not in a separate room. Also, be sure to set the Do Not Disturb button by the door to avoid being rudely awoken by the cleaner ringing the bell repeatedly. Otherwise it's a good spot, well situated for the station.

Check in was simple as long as you have the booking code - it is sent to you from the hotel, NOT hotels.com. I did not have it but someone came straight away when called to help me. The room was spacious and had a coffee machine and a fridge and a comfy bed. The location is great - so close to the train station and also just a few minutes walk into the town center. I got breakfast at nearby restaurants so did not try the hotel breakfast (next door). Would definitely stay there again

There is no staff to speak of. Fortunately from prior reviews I knew that the virtual check in system often does not recognize your confirmation number so I was prepared for that; because I was checking in near the first available time there actually was a staff person present to help. But when I needed something for my room, I had to send a message through Expedia to get a response. That said, the room was a nice size, the A/C worked well, the bed was comfortable and the location was terrific.
