Vacations Close To The Green Dragon Farmer's Market

Likely will not be returning. Checked in on Friday night and left Sunday. Beds were never made during our stay nor were they made for the party we traveled with. Had to collect our own clean towels after returning from the park each night. Despite being smoke free our room smelled terribly of smoke. Breakfast was not great, we had to eat out both days as a result, but the coffee was surprisingly good. We also left behind an electric toothbrush and called a few hours after checkout - was not turned in by housekeeping and no effort was made to make a note of it or look into it further. Only plus side was the proximity to Hersheypark but as there are other hotels on each side of this one we will be choosing differently next time.

Breakfast staff was excellent

The staff was pretty pleasant and other people really seemed to be enjoying their stay. I checked in pretty late due to spending the day at Hershey Park. The room was extremely hot, humid and had a musty/moldy smell. The air conditioner would NOT stay on. It's supposed to kick back on when it reaches a certain temperature but didn't and I had to keep getting up during the night to put it back on because the room was so humid/sticky and just hot. After showering, the water wouldn't stop dripping no matter how much you messed with it and we had to listen to it all night long. Went to the bathroom in the middle of the night after turning the air back on and the bathroom floor had a bunch of ants running around all over. All of this was minimal, compared to my biggest problem with my stay. When I woke up in the morning, my pajamas had a horrible urine smell. That totally freaked me out and I just couldn't get out of there fast enough. I can't tell if it was the mattress or the bedding but either way, that was a really disgusting experience. I told the front dest upon check out and they reluctantly asked me if I wanted them to credit a small discount for the room, which I declined. I didn't want them to think that's what my complaint was about. I wanted them to take me serious and clean the room so hopefully, the next person would have a more pleasant experience than what I had. As I previously mentioned, others seemed to be having a great time. I guess I was just unlucky.
