Vacations Close To The Farm

We stayed on the third floor, had a view of the ocean. Close enough to see, but far away from the traffic to be quiet. Staff was lovely, cookies were in the lobby. Was very clean. Two minute walk to Lovers Point and the riding/walking trail into Monterey. I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderfully

Only complaint is very low water pressure in the shower. very upscale nice hotel. Keep that in mind.

Let me say I enjoyed my stay. The property is well maintained, and the room we occupied is well appointed and clean, if a little stark. The staff is great! The property is nestled in the valley and it’s mostly quiet but for the whirl of the various machinery that runs the place and the cars that whizz by on the main highway next to the property. We don’t golf, so perhaps we didn’t take advantage of the main thing there? The room was next to a box that whirled intermittently all night long. You need to be a strong sleeper to overcome the nuisance. I am. Though The Covey Grill is a nice venue, the food is not something I would drive out for. Don’t forget there’s a resort fee on top of the room rate per night. It’s NOT exorbitant at $42/night. But we didn’t get a chance to really enjoy the extras much.
