Vacations Close To The Diamond

Rooms are big, but not clean enough. Bathroom is not updated and looks deteriorated. Valet parking service is very slow. Location is good.

The staff was friendly and professional. Room was clean everything worked and very clean. I enjoyed staying here. I will be back the next time I am in Richmond.

The fee for parking, they don’t say is almost 40 dollars plus tip. Not worth it when there are multiple public parking lots that would be half the price or less. No breakfast options. Even coffee at the lounge area. Stay was great but minor things sticks out.

It was a good stay overall

DIRTY. I’ve stayed at this property twice, and I’ll never stay again. The staff is nice, but bottom line is that it is DIRTY and it smells like marijuana. My shoes were sticking to the floor in the lobby and elevator. There was: random trash in the hallway 2 out of the 3 days of my most recent stay, an icecream wrapper under the desk in my room, a burned out lightbulb in the bathroom, an empty and very dirty tissue box in the bathroom, and dirty vents that rattled in the room. The sink and tub barely drained, and the tv in the bedroom did not turn on. It’s very apparent that their cleaning staff rushes through the work. BOTH times I stayed, there was the strong smell of marijuana coming through the vents. I understand that it’s legal in VA, but I’m allergic and asthmatic- so, although the price of the hotel is good, it’s not worth it to be sick while visiting.
