“The mattress on the bed was excellent, though the pillows could be better. The interior spaces were full of a huge array of fine antiques. The exterior spaces are under construction or in need of maintenance. Breakfast was a true Southern experience and a good fit if you are planning to bike the Virginia Creeper. “Very quiet, clean and spacious room.no need for an elevator. Parking was 10ft to the room. Good ice machine that actually worked. Value of stay was exceptional. Spacious parking lot and great and secure lighting. View from the windows was awesome with the fall foliage. Heard a cow in the morning but did not smell it.”

“Horrible. The worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. There were cockroaches in the room. We killed one, and two others ran away. We had to sleep with the lights on and couldn’t move a single thing—not even the sheets. The AC filter was filthy. There were drug addicts outside, and it seems to be a common problem in the area. The room also smelled like cat urine. We had to leave all of our belongings in the car because we were afraid of bringing a cockroach home with us. DO NOT STAY THERE!!!
