“OK, yes, some carpets need replacing, but cleanliness was A1. Staff were a delight - helpful and up for a laugh. The pools and steam room/sauna were really relaxing - once the children left... but, it's their pool as much as any one elses... children eh!? Breakfast was a usual self service affair, but really tasty and welcome after a swim and steaming session. We hope to return! ”

“What a lovely hotel! Really excellent customer service from all of the staff. I had requested a room with exposed timber beams, and on check in, the member of staff (sorry, I didn't catch your name) went out of his way to ensure that this was what we got. The room was lovely! Beautifully furnished with sumptuous fabrics, comfortable bed and sofa. There is plenty of parking which seemed very safe. The hotel is in the middle of the small village, so well located for exploring. Also easy to walk to...
