We only stopped for the night after a long trip from Southern Ontario so we didn’t get to explore, but the room was spotless, quick and easy check-in, friendly staff, beds were comfortable, big fridge and right off the highway. Would definitely recommend.

Rooms were clean. It was our mistake that we missed that they charge $20 per child. So when we booked in we had to pay an extra $45 (taxes included) for our 2yr old and 5month old which we found odd. If we had seen that before booking we would have stayed at another location for the same amount of money. We did have vehicle troubles which the owner was able to lend us some tools as our were stolen the previous night on the road.

The check-in was easy. The owner was very pleasant and easy to deal with. The cottage was very clean. The amenities were simple but useful. We had a coffee maker, a toaster, and a full-size fridge. There was dishes and utensils. The deck was nice to sit out on. The bathroom was small and there was no view of the lake. This was not a bother as we were only spending the night. The nearest amenities are 20 km away. As a clean, comfortable quiet place to spend the evening when travelling through the area, I would highly recommend it.
