“Extra large bed, huge bathroom, fantastic breakfast. The hotel is a bit dated but was clean and comfortable. We were there during a hot spell so asked for a fan. They provided a fan heater which has a fan setting. Unfortunately it wasn’t very useful, but I appreciated their aim to help. “This is a beautifully maintained and run family hotel. Every one of the staff we encountered was wonderfully friendly and helpful. The meals were varied and bountiful and the wines fairly priced. Finding and getting to the hotel for the first time was a challenge, but after that was no problem.”
