The proprietors were very welcoming & nothing was too much trouble. The church clock tower behind is a good reference point. A lovely place in a great area.

After a long journey we found the parking a little hidden. The house is up a slope. The house is small and comfortable as one would expect. The breakfast was super and I wish we had been able to take more advantage of it. We had a medical emergency and Dawn, the landlady ,was so helpful and kept the room vacant in case we needed to stop an extra day. The location was perfect for walking to the main attractions and driving to more distant parts. I would go back again when the trauma has been forgotten.

Lovely place to stay. Excellent service. The host was lovely and informative about the area. Room was a little tired but very comfortable. Only niggle really was the pigeon problem (pooping all over the car) but that wasn’t her fault. Would stay again

Great stay at the Foundry Masters House for a house hunting expedition. Hosts were so welcoming and gracious, even with an unexpected very late arrival. Fantastic cooked breakfast, very good meats from local area. Room was comfortable. Bed very supportive and lovely clean pressed sheets. Bathroom was spotless. Only very minor point was carpet was a little worn and stained. Overall, a really lovely experience and the most wonderful hosts.

If you’re looking for clean, comfortable accommodation in the Ironbridge area with friendly hosts and a fabulous breakfast, you need look no further than The Foundry Master’s House - with on site parking, too. Well-placed for Ironbridge museum and a short (10 -15 mins) walk into town which offers pubs, restaurants and individual shops, and the Blists Hill Victorian village is only a short drive away - as is Ye Olde Robin Hood pub, serving tasty pub fare at very good prices. This was our second visit to Foundry Master’s and hopefully won’t be our last! Thank you, Dawn and Danny, and best wishes.

Comfortable stay in Victorian mansion.

We were welcomed by the family. We were helped to choose from an extensive menu for our evening meals. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of fresh fruit and a variety of cereals. The main course had several tasty options including eggs Benedict and eggs royale. Coffee came with hot milk as requested. Our room was spacious with plenty of hangers and hanging space. Coffee, tea and chocolate were provided with a small kettle.

Our accommodation was clean and as described. We like old properties with character and this property fitted the bill for us. It is well heated and has it's own car parking available (which though snug for 4 cars was quite adequate). The owners are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is great, well cooked and good portions. Fresh fruit can be provided but you do need to advise the guest house prior to your visit so that it is fresh. The owner also offer a selection of evening meals for guests who are staying. Although not a cheap option I have to say that the quality is outstanding and on par with eating out at a fine dining establishment. It is very good value and we ate there both nights of our visit. The only point to note is that the church in the village chimes on the hour through the night and light sleepers may be bothered by it. I can wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful guest house.

We stayed two nights for our wedding anniversary. We had a great time despite all the museums being temporarily closed. They will be open next week possibly. Dawn and Danny were fantastically hospitable. The room was very comfortable with a huge shower. We ate in one evening after a drink outside. The standard of the food was fantastic as were the breakfasts. We will undoubtedly return when the National Trust have opened everything up again.

An excellent short break in a superb location.

Could hardly have been more pleasant in every way not least the outstanding breakfasts and excellent hostess. Superb surroundings with museums and visual attractions of all kinds within easy reach. Highly recommended.
