The proprietor greeted us on arrival, very welcoming, personally took us to the room and made that we were settled in for our one night stay.

My 9th stay here and I don’t ever hesitate to book again when the comic con dates come out. Lovely welcoming hosts, gorgeous breakfast and brilliant location.

Lovely overnight stay.

Easily accessible from main roads around Telford. Greeted warmly and shown to our lovely comfortable rooms. Good breakfast finished off an excellent stay.

Delightful

This place is delightful as are the owners. The breakfast is great and I’ve stayed there about 5 or 6 times now because it’s just so lovely. Great takeaway across the road and a small coop but also 5 minutes from the TICC

Just what we needed

Friendly and welcoming, but not overbearing. Clean tidy and in great condition. Good breakfast served nicely. All in all excellent value. Thoroughly recommend.

An Excellent Stay at a Top Class Guest House

Had an excellent night at this top class traditional guest house. The owners seem vastly experienced and it shows. The guest house is impeccably organised, spotless, and the freshly cooked hot breakfast superb. My room was quiet, spacious, comfortable, and very good value with plenty of space to work on my computer. Everything about the place reflected the skill, capability and professionalism of the owners and it was no surprise to read the raft of excellent reviews and numerous awards, accolades and accreditations framed on the hallway wall. A traditional and high standard 'old school' British guest house that provided a great stay.

Whilst the property was adequate, i am not sure how it got the 9.8 rating. The room had not been decorated in many years, with patches of threadbare carpet and the shower area had multiple mold patches. Being a low tariff i can see how difficult it must be to make changes, but really feel it was in need of a total upgrade. Strange smell in room. Owners friendly and breakfast was good.

Lovely place

Comfiest B & B bed we've ever slept in and pillows were nice and soft. There was even a fan provided, as we stayed during the heatwave! 2 bottles of water provided each day and the breakfast was lovely. Would stay here again!
