Vacations Close To Flying Mile Ski Lift

Excellent location near Berri-UQAM station to get around town, and comfortable rooms and beds (we were in room 304). Exceptional staff and the cafe on the main floor makes fantastic London Fogs. Expect stairs, but you likely already know that. Really convenient to the gay bars and fairly convenient to the Latin Quarter. The punk bar across the road has rather loud visitors up to 2 or 3 am and the ambulances add to the road noise if you like to have a window open. Bring ear plugs if you're sensitive to noise. Or go join the crowd and have one of their excellent ciders -- it's a cash only bar. Due to construction in the area, if you want to go to the Latin Quarter at night, I would recommend either cutting through the Metro or going north through the quiet neighbourhood versus the shorter route to the south. Otherwise, the area felt generally safe to us as long as you're paying attention.

What a wonderful place! The room was very well thought-out and functional, everything extremely clean and well cared-for. The video art exhibitions were so creative - we enjoyed taking the time to sit and savor the show on each floor. The staff were super helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. And the bonus for us was Subterra. What a wonderful restaurant with outrageously good food, excellent live jazz, and a lovely warm atmosphere.

A gorgeous property perfectly located in Old Montreal with easy access to the Metro system. All the staff that I interacted with provided excellent service. On the morning of our departure, the concierge provided us with a booklet of restaurant and activity recommendations for Quebec City. He somehow knew that we were going there, which was amazing! The highlight of our stay was dinner in the hotel restaurant! Food, service, and ambience were incredible! Will definitely recommend both the restaurant and hotel to people travelling to Montreal. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Ample and sleek rooms . Great location.

What else could you ask for but a spacious suite in a good location? Lighting in room, quiet AC, magnifying mirror (makeup/shave), forthright staff, staff that follows up on issues, common areas looking inviting to stay with furniture that is accessible... How bad can you mess up a good location and space. Most disappointing was not just a staff member not knowing about a magnifying mirror but their supervisor pretending we never had that conversation and then suddenly admitting that mirror maybe missing from the room. Dutifully recorded request to check AC noise, but ignored after, leaving us to not use AC for 3 more nights. Housekeeping staff was great. Otherwise this place needs a reality check from the owners.

Great location, friendly staff. The restaurant food was very good. The vent in our bathroom was very annoying and noisy coming on and off on its own. I will stay there again.

Centrally located, the Fairmount is the perfect place to stay in Montreal. The staff are friendly, and the rooms are wonderful. We opted to pay extra for early check-in and access to the lounge on the 21st floor. The lounge has an amazing view of the basilica at the Bell Centre, and the staff and food are really great. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a quality place to stay in Montreal.
