Vacations Close To Racines-Giovo Gondola

Pleasant staff and the hotel and rooms felt quite traditional and nice. Great and large balcony for our ground floor room with incredible views. Nice little pool and great buffet breakfast. If you are coming from the ferry, access is 20 mins walk via steep cobbled streets which was challenging and we (I) had to carry our suitcases as the wheels were in danger of coming off! Decent parking by the look of it but consider a cab if you’re on foot. Over all a very pleasant stay.

The great selling points are 1) the staff are extremely nice and helpful—they picked us up at the ferry, carried our heavy suitcases up the stairs to our room, held our luggage and then brought it to us at the ferry dock. 2) the view is unbeatable—IlPerlo is high up on a hill with a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding villages. The restaurant has clean glass walls so you can enjoy this view with your meals. 3) The included breakfast was delicious. We would love to stay here again.

We stayed in room 401 - top floor with a balcony overlooking the water and mountains - incredible view! The breakfasts were included and it’s fantastic - very well done. The Lisander restaurant at the property just earned a Michelin star and it’s incredible! We had 2 dinners there. The staff were all very friendly professional and accommodating - I highly recommend this hotel!

The room and staff were amazing. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the bar. The fine dining resturant was poor. Scant selection and the quality was average at best. Service was slow. We had a far superior meal off property for less cost. We would certainly stay again but would skip the food.
