This was a fantastic choice for a short two night stay in Te Anau. Rooms were immaculate and the communal kitchen area is also immaculate and a great resource for any food you want to prepare yourself.

Although the name is Motel, for us it felt like a five-star hotel. Even though we had only booked two nights, upon arrival the staff member explained everything we needed to know, not only about our stay, but also about the city, places to visit, and good restaurant options. In the room, we found everything needed for a comfortable stay. Apart from the very clean room and bathroom, the furniture and facilities showed that they had thought of everything a guest might need—from spare remote-control batteries to an extra trash bin 🙂 We stayed in several hotels during our New Zealand trip, and I would rate Parkland at the top. I hope they maintain the same level of quality for all guests, and hopefully we can come back and stay again, definitely for more than just two nights.

Spent two nights here, the room was very spacious with a separate bedroom. A little older in style, but everything you would need is there. Very close to the town centre and the lake, also dining options. Staff very friendly. Would highly recommend.
