"Great Views" were not provided - we had a 12-foot by 15-foot concrete block wall, screen door access, view of the sound wall that separated us from the adjacent main highway. Bathrooms were separate, and 30 yards from the structure. We stopped in, got the key, observed the above, and went to town to find better accommodations.

Woman at check-in was incredibly unfriendly. Paid $100 a night, and was charged extra for a towel! Would not go back.

Great place to stay. Price was reasonable. Bathrooms/showers are kept really clean. Property is well kept & has a beautiful view in a good location. Staff member I dealt with was friendly & helped me with a few things on different occasions. Laundry on site was a bonus! Would definitely stay here again.

Good location, close to town. Good value for money accommodation. Rooms are small with 3 people in them and luggage, but as advertised. Grounds kept tidy. Bathroom facilities good. Kitchen facilities good but would be great if there was more equipment available.

Thanks for a wonderful stay at Fiordland Great Views Holiday Park. Everything was as expected and more. The initial greeting was warm and friendly, the unit was very comfortable and contained everything we needed, the bathroom facilites were modern and well maintained, and the views out our back window were indeed 'great'. Would recommend and stay anytime.

Toilets and showers clean and pleasant. Cooking facilities adequate. Cabin quite cramped. Walk into town was along main road with limited pavement. Check-in poor. No-one around during advertised check-in times and no response for some time to bell or phone. When someone did appear she seemed annoyed with us for calling her!

I stayed in one of the small cabins on site. The cabin had a bunk bed (double on the bottom, single on the top), a large table, two stools, a fridge and even a small television. It was comfortable for two nights, and clearly clean and well maintained. As the name suggests, the view was splendid. The shared bathroom facilities are immaculately clean and look like new. I’ve seen worse en-suite bathrooms in hotels! I did not use the kitchen facilities, but it looked well-stocked and clean. I did use the laundry, which was very handy. $2 gives you half an hour in the washing machine and $2 for half an hour in the tumble dryer. The setting itself is peaceful, rural and attractive. Everyone who stayed there seemed friendly and respectful of their neighbours. Location is a short drive into are Anau where there are restaurants, bars and plenty of activities. The location is very handy for the road to Milford Sound. Thanks for a lovely stay!

The rooms and bathroom were very nice and clean. The 2 issues we had were with the Internet and the kitchen. As international travelers we didn’t have a fast data plan. We relied on the wifi in the hotels/ holiday parks where we stayed. The internet didn’t work at all. We needed to book hotels and tours for the next few days of our trip and were unable to do so. This was a huge problem for us. Also the kitchen was miserable. No hot water!!! How do you clean communal dishes with no hot water? That’s not sanitary. Also it wasn’t very clean and it was very poorly stocked with pots and pans.

At check in staff greeting was poor and blunt. Other things observed. poor to non- existent wifi The tv in our room played only 1 channel, Staff were approached about this, but didnt seem to care so nothing done to fix this. The hot water in the kitchen always ran luke warm to cold,and the same for the hot water in the mens hand basins in the morning was luke warm. The Toilet Block appearance is excellent and rest of the camp impressive
