Charter touristy hotel

If you sleep on the floor at home without pillows and used to coffee powder for breakfast, then you will find this hotel more comfortable and enjoy the breakfast buffet despite the watery juices mostly day old bread. Very charter touristy overall.

The hotel was family friendly. The breakfast was wonderful. We found free street parking. Tavira is extremely walkable and we were super close to the ferry to Tavira Island. The only thing I didn't care fore was the smell of cigarettes in the common areas.

The room was lovely, clean and welcoming. The shower pressure was quite low and we found the walls were quite thin. We went at the end of November so much less occupants and we could clearly hear conversations in the next room. The overall feel of the hotel was nice and staff were friendly. We however hated the buffet at the restaurant. It was 29 euros per person and I’ve never left a portuguese restaurant feeling so disappointed. It wasn’t even because of the price, the “main courses” we’re all bland, americanized food, it was so bad we decided not to go to the breakfast buffet. If you’re there just for the stay, go for it. Don’t bother with the food.
