Beachfront location, with easy access to Mount Maunganui, Mount Hot Pools, and local cafes and restaurants. We were there off season so it was really quiet and not very busy. Short walk to downtown area with many shops/dining options.

Absolutely amazing location with cafes at your doorstep and the beach across the road. Reception were friendly with a smooth check in and check out. Apartment had a couple of tired items, but with the location we didnt spend a lot of time at the apartment. Having the carpark number before you check in would be useful to avoid moving the car once checked in, but otherwise a great stay!

Beautiful spot but whilst in the process of leaving actually loading the trolley with baggage at 10.15(10 am check out) the wife got a cranky phone call to say check out is 10am whilst apologising he hung up the phone, first time of travelling this as happened. It was also the Rugby World Cup final grumpy git!

I booked a 2 bedroom ocean view apartment. The balcony and view were amazing and worth the money. Fyi, our apartment wasnt really 2 bedroom. There is a curtain dividing the lounge from one of the beds. It could be a bedroom but there is no wall or door. There is an ensuite. There was no list of minibar items, and i saw cans of soda only in the fridge. When we checked out we were told we took a juice and a chocolate bar. We didnt as there was never juice or chocolate in the room. I couldnt prove it as i had no idea what was supposed to be part of the mini bar. And i was then charged for something that never existed. I feel slightly scammed, so ask for a mini bar list and check those things actually exist at the beginning.
