We stayed in room 5, a quirky retro style room. Hosts were friendly and we had everything we needed for a comfortable one night stay. Only thing preventing 5 stars instead of 4 was host lived in room above and we could hear every footstep. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Taupo.

A very nice motel. The room was clean, comfortable, and very quiet. The neighbourhood felt safe and was also very quiet. It's a little ways out from the main town by foot, but is still only a 3 min drive from the main shops and restaurants. It's clear they've put money into upkeep - the backyard is nicely manicured and kept up, and the rooms are in good shape. It's not a 5 star hotel but for the price and for it being a motel, it's excellent.

The 'garden' room was tiny, but well equipt for our overnight stay. The fridge, microwave & kitchen crockery are hidden away in half a built-in wardrobe. The bathroom was spacious and in pristine condition. My wife and I had a comfortable night.

Great room, we stayed 7 nights from 26th dec to 2nd jan family of 4, 3 adults and one child and our 2 dogs. The staff were really nice and non judgemental of the breed of our dogs. We really appreciate that they allow dogs. First time we have been able to have them with us when away. It saved alot of doggy separation anxiety. So greatful we could have them with us. The motel is conveniently located and is very clean. It's pet friendly but with no adverse smells. We managed to leave some valuable items and the owners were very quick to find them and have them ready for a relative to pick up. We'd stay here again.
