The property is in need of maintenance but the chalets are still very comfortable (great bed) with all amenities. Very quiet and pet friendly with acres to walk dogs.

We wanted somewhere for a night on our way to Wellington that the dog could stay with us. When we arrived we were a bit apprehensive about the entire place, but once we had contacted the reception all was fine. The room was lovely and clean. And the beds were so comfy.

This property suited our needs perfectly for a brief stopover travelling with our dog. The check in was friendly. The chalet spacious & clean & had been thoughtfully warmed for our early evening arrival on a cold, wet day. The property offers excellent value & simple in room amenities. It is a bit worn & dated but with a very comfortable bed, refurbished bathroom & cosy heatpump we were more than happy. We Would happily stay again!

I think they are new managers or owners and a bit of work needs to be done. Great quiet location. Bedding was not clean so we contacted them and they came to try to rectify the issue as 9pm.
