Beautiful, beautiful, clean and cosy house to stay in. Very quiet both day and night. Lots of very interesting sites to visit. Our host and the locals were very friendly and polite towards us. Having good transport and grocery stores nearby was a bonus. Very happy!

Tatsuno is a charming, former samurai town that is easily explored on foot. We were in the area to visit the Hijemi Castle, and were very happy to be in Tatsuno, away from the bustle of tourists. The machiya is large, beautiful, elegant, and very comfortable...we could spread out and relax. We loved our short stay in the refurbished traditional home. As designers, we appreciated the architecture and tasteful decor. The traditional bathroom, with soaking tub, had lovely amenities. The garden is a delight. We had a great stroll around town and visited both the castle and the Shoyu Museum, which was very interesting. Would highly recommend Villa Kurasu. Beautiful home, host/innkeeper was very nice. It's challenging to get a taxi/driver, so if you don't have a car, be prepared to walk to the train station.

周りはとても静かで朝は小鳥のさえずりが聞こえるとても良い街だと思った。宿は昔の雰囲気を残している為、天井が低く背丈のある男性陣はかがむなど姿勢に困った。お風呂は丸椅子があれば座れて天井の心配がなくドライヤーも楽だと思った。総合的には、ゆっくりできまた利用したいと思った。

我が家にいる様なリラックスできる雰囲気がありました。ゆっくりと時間を過ごす事ができました。2階の寝室は広くて明るくゆったりと出来ました。書斎は読書に集中できる雰囲気です。1階のダイニング、浴室、トイレも綺麗で設備も需実しており快適でした。
