The room was really spacious and clean. It was a little bit old as the carpet was a bit worn in places which was a shame. The pool area was nice and was well maintained. The breakfast was regularly stocked which was a bonus as some hotels are very slow at refreshing the breakfast! All in all, a nice hotel on beautiful grounds. Would stay again

On arrival we where greeted by a beautiful lady who’s name I cannot remember but she was very nice and gave us all the information about the area that we needed including help with travel time to different locations. The hotel is very nice and clean and the surrounding views are astonishing. Nice room with plenty of space for us both to not feel like we were in each others way and an amazing huge bed which was very comfortable.

Hotels.com asked for a breakfast specific review, so: Breakfast was a quick and simple hot and cold buffet with plenty of delicious things on offer. Decent coffees are an issue though as you have to pay extra, which seems a little old fashioned. and sometimes they don't switch the coffee machine on early enough.

The property is in need of a refurb , the front is ok but our room had shredded curtains , the toilet took ages to refill so it could not be used quickly , as we had a family room it was not very useful we told the front desk who said she would check and never came back t us so we asked after dinner and was told it was fine however the problem was still there . We had dinner at the salt restaurant and the lamb still had the string in it which was not good and had to send of back , they did however took this off the bill and gave an alternative however being a 4 star hotel this should not happen , so very limited vegetarian options although a veg menu was on the website there was not one at the restaurant , we asked but was told that they did not have one and the option was either the pasta or the chef had agreed to do a veg lasagne . They need to promote the steam rooms more as we couldn’t find anything thing about it other than the pool until we got there , this was the highlight for us .

I stay here around once a month and it is a lovely hotel. Only negative is that if it is the lady on check in desk on an evening she has never been there to greet me once and I'm often stood waiting. The young gentleman however always provides a 5 star service
