One Star Bliss

La Estrella de Tarifa is a cheap and cheerful one-star hotel in Tarifa that I cannot recommend enough. I had the penthouse which was perfect once I got fit enough to take on the stairs three or four times per day. I was attempting and later completing a swim of the Strait of Gibraltar and La Estrella was perfect as the budget base to work from.

My room was very small but clean and have a problem the hoste forgotten put roll paper for washroom After text them for bringing they replay after 2 hours and we have sleeping and morning early we checked out

Hotel inaccessible en voiture, prévoir 15 euros de parking en plus du prix de l'hôtel, mal isolé, literie bricolé et pieds du lit pas au même niveau impossible de dormir avec ça, toilette sans porte aucune intimité en cas de passage au toilette les odeurs envahissent la pièce, couverture du lit inadaptée pour un usage d'hôtel, mauvaise expérience. Chambre à l'entrée de l'immeuble bruit de passage.

Ein Hotel mit sehr viel Charm. Die Zimmer sind individuell und der Zugang ist auch etwas speziell. Eine schmale steile Treppe führt zu den einzelnen Zimmern in den verschiedenen Stockwerken. Man bekommt das Gefühl von 1001 Nacht mit viel Arabischem Flair. Wir waren begeistert vom Zimmer, obwohl es nicht modern eingerichtet war. Natürlich gab es aber auch WiFi und einen kleinen Fernseher. Diesen brauchten wir aber nicht, da es schöner war in der Altstatt zu flendern und die verwinkelten Gassen zu erkunden.

Hotel sympa très bien placé dans le centre , dommage car quand nous récupérons la chambre le drap était sale avec plein des poils et des cheveux……. la fille de la réception nous as donné des nouveaux drap mais bon pas sympa avoir à refaire le lit

Hôtel sympa bien situé dans le centre historique

Charmant petit hôtel joliment décoré, plusieurs appartements disponibles de tailles différentes. Vue sur les toits de la ville depuis ma chambre, pas d’air conditionné, un ventilateur seulement - j’ai eu très chaud certains jours. J’ai passé un séjour très agréable dans cet hôtel, proche de tout, mais dans une rue calme. Le personnel est sympathique.

Close to restaurants and the port. wonderful location and hotel. very clean and bright. no parking onsite and public lots were full. we drove until a spot opened up on the street and walked a mile to the hotel with luggage.

It was simple for a three day stay. The receptionist was great and accomodating. I stayed in the penthouse. No elevator, so if stairs isn’t your thing, don’t stay at the penthouse. it was perfect for me

Nulla di eccezionale, non pulitissimo tanto che le lenzuola a volte presentavano delle macchie, tende piene di polvere e bagno non pulitissimo. La titolare l ho conosciuta l'ultimo giorno alla consegna delle chiavi, leggermente inesistente.

Hostal super cuco y muy céntrico. Lo bueno que tiene es que aunque sea céntrico no se encuentra en las calles donde están los bares y restaurantes, por lo que no hay ruidos molestos por la noche. El personal super atento, nos recomendó muchos sitios para visitar y dónde comer. Si volvemos a Tarifa, sin duda repetiremos.

beautiful Tarifa

Great place to stay in the center of historical town. Room need some refreshment but was ok. Bed was smal and hard. Room was on top in a typical Tarifa style building with small stairs and candle light. very nice place tasty with beautiful nature and restaurants ,bars and shops bohemia style. Great stay
