“Rooms where clean and well maintained. Sadly food was poor, we ate in the restaurant on the first evening, one meal was over cooked while my lamb was very chewey. Breakfast on day 2 was poor, they said it would be cooked to order but it looked and tasted like it had come from the buffet they had just cleared from a coach party. The staff were variable some abrupt and others went through the motions but werent enjoying their jobs??!”

“Cogimos este B&B para nuestra última noche en Escocia antes de volver a traves del aeropuerto de Prestwick ( a 20 minutos). Imprescindible llevar coche, Un lugar muy tranquilo, la casa está en una granja de vacas y la habitación en la que estuvimos era enorme y espaciosa. Eramos dos pero habia camas para 4. Tenía Té y todo lo necesario para prepararlo. La anfitriona fue encantadora con nosotros y nos preparó todo el desayuno que le pedimos. Excelente servicio y atención. ”

“Really nice room. Bathroom was lovely (some hairs in sink when we arrived, but not that a big deal). There was a wedding on in the hotel, with music heard thumping in our room until quite late (we’re not killjoys, but it was impossible to sleep and very loud). It would have been good to know this when booking, as we would have looked elsewhere. Called down to ask reception and they were dismissive and a bit rude. Also loud music heard in room in the morning as well.”

“The Townhouse bed & breakfast was beautiful and welcoming the moment we walked up to the beautiful garden. The wife and husband hosts were fantastic, the room was elegant and cozy. The made to order breakfast was 5 star, prepared by the owner who is a professional chef. Only wished we had spent more time in the beautiful B&B.”
