The location in the center of Tar was good. We enjoyed the short walk to wonderful restaurants and cafes. Unlike other vacation rentals we visited in Croatia, this lacked many convenient amenities. Minimum stay is five days, yet only 4 towels and 1 dish towel were provided for our family of four. There was a single roll of toilet paper. Basics like cooking oil, pepper, sugarand laundry soap weren't provided. We purchased these and left them behind - hopefully they remain for the next visitors. While the bedrooms were sufficiently spacious, the kitchen/living/dining area was too small for 4 people to fit without stepping over each other. The front door opens into the kitchen in such a way that no one can be at the stove/sink when the door is opened. The Internet service was too slow (less than 50kbps) to use YouTube or even upload photos - especially with 4 users. The much hyped espresso maker doesn't exist - there is a drip coffee maker.
