first and last time visiting

room had poor air conditioning and two pillows were missing (for the sofa beds) and one sofa bed was broken, so it made a terrible noise every time you would turn. other people staying in were noisy

Ok hotel in heart of Tampere

Omena hotel in center of Tampere. Good connections to everywhere. There is no staff and checkin trough telephone. Sometimes very noicy pleace when people partying. Excellent value for money if you just want to sleep.

Felt unclean but otherwise a good stay

My stay was overall ok, but because I've once had a really horrible hotel experience involving critters, I always check the beds immediately when I arrive and before I unpack. The sheets were clean, but there was quite a lot of hair and dirt between the mattresses, which was gross and made it feel like the whole room was unclean. The headboard was dusty and there was an old piece of someones fake eyelash stuck in the headboard which I first thought was a spider or something lol. Could also find some hair on the floor in the shower. But this was one of the cheapest places to stay in the town, so I was not expecting it to be tiptop, but maybe give the cleaning crew a bit more time for each room? Otherwise I had a good stay, did not hear much from the neighbours and the tv was of a good size. The check-in worked really well over text.

Hiljainen, siisti hotelli. Hyvä sijainti, hyvät yhteydet sekä paikallis- että kaukoliikenteeseen. Keskustan ruoka- ja kahvipaikoissa on mukavasti valinnanvaraa. Ylellisyyttä kaipaavalle tämä hotelli ei sovi, mutta käytännöllisyyttä arvostavat kiittävät. Huoneessa oleva mikro helpottaa budjettimatkailua.

Heinäkuun helteillä perheen kanssa yksi yö perhehuoneessa. Huone oli siisti. Lapsille avattavat sängyt jotka aiheuttivat ihastusta koska molemmille oli omat. Huoneessa ei ilmastointia joten helteiden vuoksi aika kuuma. Myöskin ”äänieristys” oli varsin huomaamaton. Käytävän äänet kuuluivat kuin ovi olisi ollut auki ja jonkun läheisen baarin bändin keikan saattoi aika hyvin kuunnella omasta sängystä. Meillä ei lapset siitä kuitenkaan hätkähtäneet ja nukkuivat hyvin. Aivan hyvä kun tarkoituksena oli yö nukkua eikä aikaa viettää.

Hyvä kokemus

Siisti, tilava ja rauhallinen huone. Liikenteen äänet eivät kuuluneet, vaikka ikkunat olivat kadulle päin. Jääkaappi, mikro ja vedenkeitin mahdollistavat omatoimisen aamiaisen. Sijainti erinomainen, välittömässä läheisyydessä paljon ravintoloita ja kauppoja.

Sijainti todella hyvä. Rauhallista vaikka keskellä kaupunkia. Ensimmäisenä päivänä yritimme soittaa 4 x asiakaspalveluun, mutta ikinä meille ei vastattu. Tähän kannattaa kiinnittää jatkossa huomiota. Meillä ei niin hengenhätä (puuttui 1 tyynyliina kokonaan), mutta asiakaspalveluun pitää saada yhteys. Huone haisi voimakkaasti viemärille ja kun suihkussa kävi, ei ollut lastaa millä pyyhkiä lattia eikä myöskään yhtä ylimääräistä pyyhettä millä kuivata lattia. Toinen levitettävä sänky ei hyvä, rauta painoi nukkujan selkää.

Helppoa majoittumista edullisesti

Käytän Omenahotellia usein matkustaessani yksin sen edullisuuden ja kätevyyden vuoksi: siisäänkirjautuminen on helppoa, kulku toimii näppärästi koodilla, jolloin erillisiä avaimia ei tarvitse säilyttää, huoneissa on yleensä siistit "hyttimäiset" wc-kylpytilat sekä hyvä sänky mukavine petivaatteineen. Lisäksi huoneissa on jääkaappi omille tavaroille sekä vedenkeitin, teepusseja ja pikakahvia. Tämä riittää minulle mainiosti, sillä yksin matkustaessani en juuri vietä aikaa huoneessa muutoin kuin peseydyn, nukun ja hörppään teet ja syön jotain mukaan nappaamaani pientä ja illalla lueskelen tai toljotan tv:tä (tai kännykästä striimipalvelusta jotain) ennen nukahtamista. Tälläkin kertaa kokemus oli hyvä, etenkin, koska vuode tarjosi hyvät unet, hotelli oli hiljainen ja pimennysverhotkin täyttivät tehtävänsä. Ainoa miinuspuoli, joka tuntuu olevan poikkeuksetta vinksallaan Omenahotelleissa on, että Chromecast ei toimi. Olen käyttänyt sitä onnistuneesti muissa hotelleissa vieraillessani, mutta Omenahotelleissa se useimmiten on toimimaton. Muualla riittää, että valitsen kännykälleni hotellin wifin ja menen huoneen televisiovastaanotosta Chromecast-palveluun, mutta Omenahotelleissa tämä ei ole toiminut useinkaan, ei tälläkään kertaa.

Pientä korjattavaa, muuten hyvä

Hotelli on erinomaisella paikalla ja huoneet ovat tilavia ja melko siistejä. Harmillisesti jääkaappi ei kylmentynyt ja huoneen ovi ei pidä juurikaan ääntä. Kaikki keskustelu käytävältä kuului huoneeseen ja eväät olivat sitten lämpimässä. Hinta on tosi edullinen ja tykkään konseptista muuten. Tulen varmasti taas uudelleen
