Starting with the Lobby the receptionist wasn’t kind. I say Good evening and she did not respond. She just put the papers to be sign on front on me and kept in silence. When I was on my way to the room it was dark and no illumination at all. Apparently they still have the lights in summer time set up because it turns on after 9:00 pm when in Florida by this time sunset starts at 5:30PM. My bathroom had a water like at the point that I had to put towels in the floor.
Under bed is a lot of dust and dirt. The floor is not clean. It needs to be cleaned the proper way. It looks like it haven’t been mopped in months when u wipe the floor with a towel
Arliss at the front desk is truly terrible at her job and needs to be reprimanded for her attitude. Not only was she unhelpful, rude and unprofessional with me (booked 2 rooms for 2 nights each for business), I overheard her being rude with other patrons when using the vending machines. In previous stays, we only experienced great customer service. Very disappointed we returned here. I look forward to seeing how upset mgmt handles this issue.
horrible smell of cigarette even though it was a smoke free room, building is old and not well taken care of, looks like people rent there by month or actually leave there for longer, the area where is located is old and nothing good around except for bush gardens (that also leaves a lot to be desired). downtown tampa looks so much better.
Staff was nice. Pool was fun. Could see the rollercoasters from our room and my kids liked that. Loved the separate sitting and sleeping areas.
Patio was super small, can't even really get a chair out there, but it was still nice to get some fresh air.

It's fine for a short stay -
the room was clean -
the door to get into the building was a bit rough to get in.
and they were literally at our door 5 minutes to 11 to make sure we were checking out.
The rooms were perfect for family! tons of room. They could have cleaner. But im not complaining. @ min ride to the park. The staff was super friendly. The shuttle was on point and on time.

you get what you pay for
We stayed here overnight for a quick trip to Busch Gardens. It worked for what it is. Its not impressive, its a bit dirty, the staff is less than friendly. heavy smells of weed through out, mold in bathroom. For the price, its too be expected. I would not book again, but for what we needed it for - it worked.
I really was upset about service, guy at front desk was very rude and unpolite, i try to get his name but he hide it from me....i try to call manager..., but its useless because i was transferred to same rude person to front desk .... end of our conversation was"if you stay i overcharge you for something to teach you lesson...."
i recorded everything and provide to cheaptickets and find whats going on
also this place is not like photo here, its much older and king of never been refreshed
outside at the hotel property was homelesses
if hotel management wants to contact me i can provide all prove all evidence
Staff is friendly, but hotel in dire need of maintenance. Shower knob broken, sink drain broken, dresser knobs broken, outlets popping out of wall...Not ideal for vacationers or children, but decent for just a night’s sleep.
Hotel is dirty and old. Sketchy neighborhood and very dark parking lot area. Not at all like the pictures. First room was moldy smelling so terribly we asked for a second room. Moved to room two and smelled almost as bad and the AC didn't work in the bedroom. Wouldn't recommend. Ended up leaving.
Check in was terrible they over charged me when I paid Hotels.com they took out double the money on my account . Place was dirty very un professional front desk staff. I went downstairs bc my key was not working to find the employee sitting on the floor smoking it’s just a nasty place you get what you pay for didn t clean the room not enough towels
The stay and the room was fine, but the office staff is rude and nobody told me that i was gonna have to wait a week to get my deposit back, so they take my hundred bucks when i get there, but now i have to wait to get it back....ive never waited at any other hotel! And what im most upset about is their attitudes!!
The staff was very nice and friendly. Checking in was quick and easy. The location in proximity to Busch Gardens is great and they offer shuttle service. The bad parts- not extremely family friendly. There were people smoking weed in the walkways and pool areas openly as well as people drinking in the breezeways and pool areas with bottles lined up. We made the front desk aware of the issue, but I do not know what was done about it. Also, my sheets had some gross stains on them. I do like that the flooring was tile and not carpet. Otherwise, the rooms are big, spacious, and updated.

It is what it is
So keep in mind it’s Covid times...that being said I had to buy more than one room because family and daughters friends came down to move daughter to school so I was looking for a value because we were going on vacation from there. For what I paid it was not unlivable. The conditions were not safe feeling. The rooms floors were not good. The beds were fairly comfortable. I would pay more next time somewhere else and expect more...it was under expectation but it also was not costly...you get what you pay for...it’s just a fact of life.the front office girl was very nice.
