Quick and easy check-in at the front desk. The staff were very friendly and explained the several amenities of the hotel. The room that was booked looked just like in the pictures which was awesome. Pros: the staff were super friendly, the beds were very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, the room was clean, it had full sized shampoo/conditioner/soap/lotion bottles Cons: it needs some minor work done in the room. The shower curtain drooped so the curtain came away from the wall and water sprayed out, the chair had some stains on it, the conditioner bottle had come off the wall, the bathroom fan didn't work well. Overall though, I would definitely recommend staying here.

Definitely an older hotel, but it's renovated, the beds are comfortable, and there is a great restaurant just down the street called Mission BBQ. No airport shuttle, but it's not too far from TPA so Uber is a reasonable fare. Friendly front desk service.
