The hotel area is super nice, the room was great, and lots of hammocks and beach chairs in a private area. The man working the reception was extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside is having to walk through the restaurant entrance, past the heat of the kitchens etc to get to the hotel room. Only reason it’s 4 not a 5

The rooms were super clean. The staff was so sweet and friendly. The hotel has private beach access with beach chairs, hammocks and restaurant. One of the best places to stay in Tamarindo.

We had a really lovely three night stay. Both Rolando and Audrey were helpful and nice. The room really suited our family with the king size bed on the main floor and twin beds in the loft. We enjoyed breakfast in the restaurant that shares the site and the massages in the tent on site were fabulous and so well priced. We only wish we could have stayed longer.

Great hotel! The owner,Audrey, and the front desk man, Rolando, were so nice and accommodating! Very friendly. The room was clean and literally right in the beach. Even had a howler monkey wake me up one morning. Downtown is right outside the front door. The bathroom was a little tight though I would highly recommend

Rolando is an absolute gem! If I could give him higher than a 10/10 rating I would! The whole hotel is a hidden treasure. White sand beach, hammocks, firm comfortable bed, hot water and great water pressure. Patio was glorious for morning coffee or take it to one of the beach loungers. You can watch the waves roll in from your bed. The value is in the location (walk to anything- 10963867ish restaurants, shops, markets etc) CUSTOMER SERVICE ❤️ and Costa Rican authenticity- if you want marble countertops and Gold Coast finishes this place is not for you. However, if you like kind people, a great beach and comfy bed- this is luxury It is enjoyed by those that truly value pura vida living. EVERYONE we met were repeat customers, from 2-10 years returning. Yes, it’s that good. BOOK NOW!! ❤️

Rolando was an amazing host and very accommodating. The real hidden treasure at this hotel was the STAFF. They were polite, helpful, and a pleasure to visit with. I highly recommend this hotel for it's location and the price. Already planning my next trip back to Hotel La Palapa.
